JCI Manile\u00f1a has leveled up the celebration of Valentine\u2019s season after its first staging of \u201cUnlock My Heart\u201d Metro Area Valentine\u2019s Party in 2014 at Prohibition Bar in Makati City. This year, JCI Manile\u00f1a has even made this celebration bigger through its tie-up with JCI Marikina Marikit in hosting Metro Area\u2019s very first Post-Valentine\u2019s and Summer Kick-off Pool Party, entitled, \u201cUnlock My Heart, Again\u201d in Scout Borromeo St., Quezon City last February 18.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Besides providing a venue for fun, collaboration, and camaraderie for all Metro Area chapters, the event also served as a fundraising activity for the benefit of the adopted communities of both hosting chapters. Although it was held on the eve of Chinese New Year, it turned out to be a well-attended event, with guests even from areas outside the Metro Area, and graced by the presence of some national officers, including the JCIP\u2019s National President, Brian Lim.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
More than 200 guests \u2013 both JCI and non-JCI \u2013 were treated to a fun and exciting night. With a much laid back set-up filled with booze and street food, the guests loved the vibe and felt more relaxed. Furthermore, an acoustic band serenaded the beautiful ladies who came, and the stage was opened to jammers, who then shared their talent in singing. The signature matching game of the Valentine\u2019s party, which was about, \u201cguys matching their keys with the ladies\u2019 locks\u201d, made the event even more exciting. Lucky winners of the games and raffle draw received gift certificates from CrossFit Ortigas and Los Arcos de Hermano Resort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This collaboration has indeed created a stronger bond and camaraderie serving the hosting chapters\u2019 sole purpose of creating a fun-filled event that also enables everyone to give, to be of service to others, and to create positive change.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
