JCI Manileña ADVANCED: 35th Induction & Turnover Ceremonies
2015 is JCI Manileña’s 35th year. While last year’s President, Aya Peñalosa has brought Manileña at its PRIME, this year’s President, Karen Romarate aims to ADVANCE the organization to even greater heights. With its new Board of Directors, all packed with fresh and relevant ideas, advancing the organization is truly possible.
Last February 8, 2015, JCI Manileña celebrated its 35th Induction and Turnover Ceremonies at Hotel InterCotinental, Makati City. The event was well-attended by both JCI and non-JCI friends of the Chapter. Members of the past and current National Board were present in the Induction and Turnover Ceremonies of JCI Manileña, with 2015 JCI National President Brian Lim as the guest speaker. The evening was also fully supported by the Past Presidents, regular members, and Baby JCs of JCI Manileña. This was truly a testament to the strong membership base of JCI Manileña, having both seasoned and new members coming together to show their solidarity to the incoming leadership.
With the theme, JCI Manileña ADVANCED: Advancing Diverse Values and Aspirations that Nurture Communities towards Economic Development, 2015 President Karen Romarate and the new set of Board of Directors aim to continue the programs of the Chapter that enable the empowerment of individuals and aid in creating positive change in the society.
2014 JCI Manileña President Althea “Aya” Peñalosa, along with the Past Presidents of the Chapter, paved the way for the Manileñas to be significant contributors to the community. For the past 35 years, JCI Manileña has helped in developing well-rounded individuals and highly empowered women that can take on the challenge to Be Better. It is now time for President Karen and her Board of Directors to lead JCI Manileña into greater heights.
Congratulations to JCI Manileña President Karen Romarate and the 2015 Board of Directors!
